My passion is to help others become attuned to their most authentic self, helping them grow into loving themselves wholeheartedly. I acknowledge and validate the experiences my patients have and/or are going through, and I work with them on creating new narratives for their stories so that they can build upon their worth and identity. We all go through challenging experiences in life that is why I work hard on creating a safe place for my patients to share their struggles and pains with me. Using a person-centered approach, I will hold my patients' hands as they proceed forward with their healing journey.

I wanted to be a guiding light to patients who are stuck in their own darkness. It is an honor to witness my patients' growth during our sessions.
I enjoy practicing yoga, reading books (I am a part of 3 different book clubs), and going on walks with my two dogs (a Husky Malamute and a Pittie). I also like exploring new coffee shops and restaurants around my neighborhood with my partner and friends. Having community is a big part of my life.
I follow a strict self-care regime to ensure my cup is full before going to work. I also take frequent mini-vacations (5-15 minute walks or getting away from my desk) throughout the day, these breaks help me reset for each patient.
Atomic Habits by James Clear and The Body Is Not An Apology by Sonya Renee Taylor. I learn something new or have a new insight/"aha moment" every time I read these two books. They are also part of my favorite list to recommend to patients.
NEDA-National Eating Disorder Association. They have great educational resources and effective resource tools for clinicians and patients.
Following my self-care regime, it's a daily practice for me. Non-negotiable. It includes a variety of movement practices, nourishing meals, community involvement, and meditation, and cognitive activities.
I have two dogs! A 4-year-old Pittie and a 13-year-old Husky Malamute. I have so many stories with these two guys, they have changed my life in a massive way. I don't have one specific story, but I do have something I do with my Pittie twice a month, and that's "Elnour and Kobe" dates, I take Kobe out for the entire day, try new dog parks, eat at our favorite restaurants, and enjoy our quality time together.
