I have been doing clinical therapy for over 15 years. I know that when someone feels heard and understood — self-worth and value increases. The overall goal in therapy is to know yourself better, trust yourself, and like yourself. During the process it can become clear which experiences have influenced esteem and self worth. Gaining self awareness is key to feeling in control. Once a person understands themselves better, decisions become easier and life feels lighter.
