I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology. I enjoy working with people who are unsure about therapy as well as those experienced and enthusiastic. I specialize in helping you feel comfortable talking about the core issues that might be underlying the reasons for seeking therapy at a no-pressure pace. My approach is person-centered, with an emphasis on evidence-based interventions from cognitive behavior therapy. Depending on your reasons for seeking therapy my style might be informal or structured. I see my work as that of a guide who can help you better understand yourself, your needs, your strengths, and your goals.

I've been interested in people and their behaviors since I was very young. I enjoy supporting those going through a difficult time and helping them better understand themselves and gain greater enjoyment of life.
I enjoy reading, movies (especially documentaries), hiking, and playing board games.
I practice gratitude, especially for the small things like electric toothbrushes and thermostats.
I recharge in nature, by spending time with loved ones and also by myself.
I have a dog, Max. I like our adoption story. Max was a shelter pet who had several people already in line to adopt him but they didn't make a decision in time and so we were able to adopt him. He's a great fit for our family and he is well-loved.
