Why did you become a mental health professional?
I have a passion and purpose for guiding people to radical self-acceptance, deep compassion, integration of their stories, and embracing their full humanity.
What are your interests outside of work?
I am a sports mom, certified yoga teacher and meditation coach. I enjoy traveling, all types of dance styles, and group aerobic classes.
What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?
Meditation, exercise, and daily priming is a must for me everyday.
What book have you read more than once?
The 7 Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. I keep this book with me most of the time, it reminds me of what it most important- that I am energy/spirit having a physical experience.
Favorite organization/non-profit?
Out of the Closet, a thrift store and pharmacy. They support the LGBTQ+ community with health needs and fashionable clothing. Everyone deserves to be healthy and look good without breaking the bank!
How do you recharge?
Sleep and the spa for a scrub and massage!
Do you have any pets?
I have a fur baby named Baxter, he is 3 years old. We are both Pisces – he was born a day after me and in typical Pisces fashion, he is loving, intuitive, and stubborn at times!
