Solution-focused, Strengths-based
I believe in a collaborative approach that is based on a client’s strengths and resiliency. The therapeutic process is constructed to develop effective coping techniques and strategies for the stressors of today. This framework supports the client in learning how to create a coping skills toolbox to meet the challenges of life today and in the future.

As a counselor at the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing in the RECOVER program, I worked with families in the process of identifying a loved one. RECOVER is a program that collaborates with the District of Columbia Medical Examiner's office. This profound experience informs my private practice today. I embrace all experiences and expressions. My training as a licensed professional counselor and certified addictions counselor II provides me with the experience, clinical skills, and compassion to work with each individual at his or her pace and address issues that each client defines as most important to their quality of life.
I love cooking for friends.
Travels with Charley. It is a beautiful story of people and the country.
