Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
I have a straight-forward style and speak plainly. I rely most heavily on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but add in components of other methodologies when they are useful for a patient. My approach is to help patients discover what they don't like about their current situation (why they are seeking therapy), how they would rather feel, and various approaches to get there.

I love careers in which I can meaningfully help people. When I was younger, I relied on my brawn to do that. As I got older (and the injuries started stacking up) I chose to continue my education and use my brain, instead. The most meaningful way I can spend my time is in helping others discover ways they can improve their own situation.
I purposely allocate time to "worry." If something is stressing me, I set aside a specific time to work through it. This allows me to see the situation clearly, so that it is not some amorphous monster hanging over me. I can break it down into component parts and puzzle out ways to address each of the parts. In this way, I can compartmentalize and not drag a stressor around with me all day. It frees me to be mindful and focus on the moment I'm in right now.
The Body Keeps The Score by Bessel van der Kolk. Bessel is the Neil Peart of trauma work. And if you don't know who Neil Peart is, check out his music. You'll be glad you did ;-) I also read the original Star Wars book more times than I can count when I was a kid. Don't judge me.
Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA). They are a bunch of scruffy-looking bikers who work with agencies in place to help children who have been abused by people they should have been able to trust. A close second favorite is Doberman Rescue of North Texas, because...Dobies.
