I will provide you with the tools and coping mechanisms you need to thrive both in and out of the working world.

My Therapy Style

My goal will be to work with you, guide you, and help you achieve a fulfilling life. I’m results-oriented and will help you set actionable goals which will lead you to graduation from care. I will provide you with the tools and coping mechanisms you need to thrive both in and out of the working world. I use active listening as an important tool to help me understand your feelings and turmoil – sometimes you may just need to vent.

And as I follow you on your journey, I will employ the skills of my profession as you need them. As a licensed independent clinical social worker in my second career, I bring a wide range of experience and perspectives on life.

I can assist with depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, career difficulties, life transitions, caregiving, and much more. I’m very passionate about helping people who are young professionals, in the midst of a career change, or want to advance in their careers. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to bridge the gap between mental health struggles and job coaching.

Together we can build a path forward.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I discovered my strength strength in helping people in the volunteer work I was doing and made the decision to go back to school for my Master's degree in Social Work.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy daily exercise, including spin class, weight training, and boxing. I am also a culture vulture, enjoying museums, theatre, music and dance performances.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I roll out of bed and onto my yoga mat every morning for a stretch program.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My first volunteer job with children was with Reading Partners. I so enjoyed tutoring elementary students with their reading skills.

How do you recharge?

My favorite spot to recharge my batteries is the National Building Museum. I wholeheartedly enjoy both the exhibits and the building itself.
