Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a psychologist because I believe that emotional and mental well-being are equally as important as our physical health, and I believe it is necessary to treat a whole human being. I am a compassionate person who thrives to help others recognizes their inner strengths, but also provide support to help individuals develop the skills they need to grow past their natural talents as well.

What are your interests outside of work?

Exploring new places, finding delicious food, spending time with family and friends, working out and reading.

What book have you read more than once?

I have read John Izzo's The Five Secrets You Must Discover Before You Die because it is an excellent reminder to live every day with purpose and intention.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My favorite non-profit is CDH International. My youngest son was born premature and had an undiagnosed Congenital Diaphragmic Hernia. This organization helped me and my family to become knowledgeable about this condition and has helped me have a community that understands that challenges that we faced and continue to face supporting a child with CDH.
