I believe that clients want to change, are the experts in their own desires and goals, and have the resources and inner strengths to overcome their mental health issues.

My Therapy Style

I work with my clients to create an open, trusting and safe environment where anything can be shared. My approach to therapy is to work collaboratively with clients to build a strong therapeutic alliance. In my practice, I use different therapeutic approaches depending on what works best for the client, including client-centered therapy (being congruent with the client, providing unconditional positive regard, and empathic understanding), a biopsychosocial approach, and/or Solution Focused Therapy.

I believe that clients want to change, are the experts in their own desires and goals, and have the resources and inner strengths to overcome their mental health issues. My goal is to assist clients to move towards a future that they want by successfully addressing any issues that they might be facing or having difficulty resolving.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

I like to spend time with family and friends, ski, hike, read, and go to the theater.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Camp Kesem. They are committed to creating a world where every child who has a parent with a cancer diagnosis or has lost a parent to cancer is never alone. They support these children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with free, fun-filled creative programs and a lasting community.

Do you have any pets?

I have two Labrador dogs. The younger one, a female, will jump up high onto her crate just to get away from the older one from bothering her. It is so cute.
