Motivational interviewing (MI), Relational, Strengths-based
I am nonjudgmental, though I will softly challenge you to reach your goals. I tailor my approach and style to each client I work with based on their needs; I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. I am trained as a family therapist. I try understand you through the context of your relationships, your environment, and the different aspects of your identity, as other systems and people can influence how you feel about yourself.

As I grew up I learned that I was a good listener and motivator. Friends and family members would call me frequently to vent or ask for advice. I wanted to learn tools and skills to empower people to feel unstuck.
I meditate, read, listen to music and exercise. I also make sure to schedule breaks regularly into my daily schedule.
I recharge by walking my dog and spending time outside.
I have a pet dog, Latte. Latte encourages me to be social because he is very outgoing and friendly (our walks are very long because he has to say hi to everyone).
