I provide a safe and caring place for us to collaborate on making changes in your life. Our sessions are focused on what is important to you, as well as what is important for you.
I give special consideration to your identity and cultural background, and I work with you in a way that is respectful and effective. I don't just listen without commenting, but interact with you and help you express thoughts and feelings if that is what you need. Therapy can be painful and frustrating, but is almost always beneficial. I look forward to our working together.

I like singing, interacting with my family, writing, spending time in nature, reading traveling and learning about different cultures.
Each morning, I allow myself at least 1-1/2 hours after waking up, to just sit, have a cup of coffee, and slowly come into consciousness. That means, if I need to be somewhere at 9am, wake up early enough to take 1-1/2 hours for myself before I even get into the shower. I also sometimes take naps during the day, if I feel it's needed.
I recharge by reading, singing, sitting by the water, going for a walk in nature.
The Alchemist. I find that this book is not as straightforward as it appears to be upon first read. It speaks in parables and metaphors, in such a way that, each time I read it, I find different or deeper meanings to the story than previously noticed.
