My Therapy Style

I obtained my Masters of Social Work with a focus on interpersonal practice from the University of Michigan and have been practicing for 6 years in diverse settings.

I believe we all have another level in us that we can unlock from the lessons we learn through self-exploration. It’s an internal process I have been supporting people with for years. For some, it may be reached by healing from traumatic experiences or learning to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health diagnoses. For others, it may be strengthening communication, building or repairing relationships, working through familial issues, or discovering the true you. As a therapist, I will guide, empower, and walk alongside you as you work to reach your next level.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I truly believe that mental health functioning is a major part of reaching your life goals. It has so many intersections with the identities we hold, job titles we perform, families we raise, and communities we are a part of. Supporting others with reaching higher emotional awareness and health and hearing about the impact it has on their lives really feeds me and keeps me going.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy connecting with friends and family, eating good food, and traveling.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I listen to music.

How do you recharge?

The best way for me to recharge is to unplug from electronics and other media. A place where I am fully present with myself and loved ones, time is fluid, and I am able to decompress.
