I believe that developing a strong therapeutic relationship and working with clients to achieve their goals will lead to growth, healing, and a better understanding of one’s self.

My Therapy Style

My ultimate goal as a psychologist is to provide a safe and empathic environment for individuals to address their presenting concerns. I believe that developing a strong therapeutic relationship and working with clients to achieve their goals will lead to growth, healing, and a better understanding of one’s self. I believe all this is possible in a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. I have a passion for working with culturally diverse populations. It is one of my goals to empower clients to create a meaningful life despite the pain that inevitably occurs.

What are your interests outside of work?

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Quality time is important to me. I also enjoy exercising, binge-watching some of my favorite TV shows and traveling.

What book have you read more than once?

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is a book that I have read multiple times since graduate school. Viktor Frankl's story of navigating deep pain and turmoil is a beautiful expression of resilience, perseverance, and hope. It is a helpful reminder that even when the odds are against us and it feels hopeless, there is always something that we can do. It is not a long read so I enjoy rereading it from time to time.
