Therapy Style

The healing process is an incredible journey, and I believe therapy can result in greater self-awareness by giving clients new skills to thrive and develop a deeper relationship with themselves and the world around them. To me, healing represents a journey in which you are able to explore past and present as well as develop the tools needed to work through life’s obstacles. I use a person centered, strengths-based approach that is collaborative and mindful. I strive to foster a safe space where clients can tell their story, and gain insight, all while providing a safe and secure relationship.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I always tell people I was a therapist before I became a "therapist". I've always enjoyed helping others find their strengths.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy cooking with my fiancé, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

How do you recharge?

As of lately, I have been enjoying cycling classes as a way to practice mindfulness. I also enjoy partaking in the mundane such as watching Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.

Do you have any pets?

I have two fur-babies and their names are Missy and Kaia. Missy is a Yorkshire Terrier (she truly thinks she's a human) and Kaia is half Husky and half German Shepherd.
