I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health treatment and increasing access to quality mental health care for all, regardless of social status

My Therapy Style

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I served as an Intensive In-Home Mental Health Services Therapist with Children’s Institute, Inc in underserved communities within Southern California for six years. I gained substantial experience treating youth, young adults and their caregivers in programs and departments including Wraparound, foster care, probation, commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), supervised independent living (SILP), and schools. Wraparound utilizes a collaborative trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to address needs of youth and families who have experienced direct or indirect trauma utilizing evidenced-based models and interventions.

I believe therapy is like shoes: one size does not fit all and treatment should be tailored to each individual to create a safe therapeutic environment. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health treatment and increasing access to quality mental health care for all, regardless of social status.
