I have experience working with the aging and disabled populations, those facing difficult health diagnoses, and caregiving challenges. I've also helped people address grief, and past trauma along with supporting those who seek to maintain health, independence, and dignity. My approach marries compassion, experience, and science. The therapeutic relationship is the priority as those who feel safe, validated, and heard are often open to genuine healing. I have been trained in various Evidence-based practices (EBPs) for various issues. I provide services in English and Spanish.
MSW - Social Welfare, UCLA
I was raised by my grandparents who were also foster parents and I saw how important supporting others at their most vulnerable was for specific families and the community. I was encouraged to support others who needed care, especially during a challenging time in their lives.
I love spending time with my family and grandchildren. I love sports and reading for pleasure. I love nature and specifically water.
I play with my grandchildren, grand cats, and read.
I believe in balance. I do something social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotionally fulfilling, and spiritual on various days every week.
