My Therapy Style

My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. I also offer thorough clinical evaluations for VAWA, Asylum, and Extreme Hardship immigration cases. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I wanted to find purpose in my career. I consider myself to be a good listener and have great sense of empathy.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy being outdoors (i.e., hiking, gardening). I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I also enjoy exercise.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I work out at least 5 times per week. When I am unable to workout I make sure I practice affirmations and pray.

What book have you read more than once?

The Four Agreements because it is a straight-forward and easy to read.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

St. Jude because of their tireless effort to help children with cancer.

How do you recharge?

I like to spend time with family and be outdoors.
