Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
I emphasize the importance of holistic, strength-based, client and family-centered, trauma-based, mindfulness-based, and Cognitive Behavioral interventions while utilizing creative and critical thinking, flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and interpersonal skills to ensure that the needs of individuals and families are met.
My goal is to create and establish a healthy and caring relationship with you while identifying your strengths and informal supports to create a better quality of life. By partnering with you, I seek to help you meet your identified goals, create coping skills, and for you to feel empowered and in control of your life.

I wanted to create a safe space for people of color, particularly Black people. As a Black woman, seeking professional help is very challenging, and can be daunting when the professional does not under the Black experience.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, eating, and working out.
The first thing that I do in the morning, after completing my hygiene, of course, is walk my dog unless it's pouring rain. I enjoy the breeze or cold air. It helps me clear my head to create space for the day, enjoy the environment, and bond with my fur baby.
I work out pretty regularly, listen to music, and take space as I see fit. Whether I spend a day on the couch bingeing a show or self-care, like getting a pedicure.
