As a bi-racial therapist, I understand the challenges and barriers that come with trying to break intergenerational trauma.

My Therapy Style

As a bi-racial therapist, I understand the challenges and barriers that come with trying to break intergenerational trauma, which oftentimes fuels cycles of guilt, shame, and identity despair/confusion. I demonstrate a level of understanding that these obstacles can at times lead to isolation and feeling like you’re not good enough. I understand we are each on our own unique life path and will meet you along the way. I provide unconditional support, guidance, and safety, and equip my clients with practical strategies to help them define and reach their goals while learning to live their best life.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I am dedicated to supporting individuals in their healing process and have supported organizations dedicated and focused on providing support services to underserved communities.

What are your interests outside of work?

I have spent a lot of time working with Habitat for Humanity's global Village program building homes across the world. I enjoy pushing the mind and body to its limits by participating in half iron man triathlons!

What book have you read more than once?

I have read The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho at least once a year for many years. I love The Alchemist because it is a story of overcoming obstacles and learning to look inward and and trust ourself and follow our dreams.

Do you have any pets?

I have two furbabies that I love dearly! Every morning I enjoy waking them up and watching them run around so excitedly to start a new day and go on our favorite walk together! I enjoy winding down at the end of the day by snuggling up with my pups and reading a book.
