Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I’ve always been passionate about supporting others through their challenges. I’m inspired by the resilience and strength people demonstrate when facing difficulties, and I want to be in a position where I can contribute positively to their journey. It’s incredibly fulfilling to help individuals find clarity, healing, and growth, and to be part of their path toward a healthier, more balanced life. This field allows me to combine my empathy and commitment to making a difference in a meaningful and impactful way.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I find joy in creative outlets like soap making, baking, and crafting new kombucha recipes. These passions remind me of the importance of balance and creativity in both life and healing.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

One thing I do daily to support my mental and emotional well-being is to consciously tune into my own needs. I take a few moments each day to check in with myself, whether that means practicing mindfulness, journaling, or simply taking a short break to reflect. This self-awareness helps me understand what I need to stay balanced and energized, which ultimately enhances my ability to be present and effective in my work. Prioritizing my own well-being ensures that I can offer the best support and care to those I work with.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by doing things I enjoy, like spending time outdoors or connecting with loved ones. I also find relaxation in hobbies I’m passionate about, such as reading or being creative. These activities help me unwind and come back to my work feeling refreshed and ready to support others.
