I became a therapist because I realized early on in life that I had a passion for guiding people through difficult times.
Things that I do for self-care daily include practice mindfulness, like progressive muscle relaxation and giving mindful hugs. I enjoy getting massages and planning and going on trips.
I have read the book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People 3 times now. This book presents "a pathway for living with fairness, integrity, honesty, and human dignity – principles that give us the security to adapt to change and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates."
