Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I have had to navigate through difficult life circumstances and wanted to take my personal growth and passion for helping others and utilize it in a way that I could make a positive difference for others.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I am a dedicated mother and enjoy giving my children focused attention and fun new experiences. I also enjoy connecting with friends and family, exploring new places, listening to upbeat music, and creating connections with people in my community through organizing fun social events with others community members.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I always take time for my emotions and check-in with myself throughout the day if I notice I'm not feeling quite my best. I want to give myself an opportunity to process through my emotions and figure out a positive solution.

How do you recharge?

Honestly, I recharge by doing activities with my kids and husband. Being a part of creating positive core memories for my children gives me such a great boost of energy.

Do you have any pets?

I have 3 pets, 2 dogs and 1 cat. One of my favorite pet stories was when my husky met my first-born daughter for the first time and just instantly fell in love with her and decided that she was his to love and protect.
