My Therapy Style

I am dedicated to providing compassionate and inclusive therapy for all individuals, and I have extensive experience in the LGBTQ+ community and identity affirmation. I blend compassion with graceful confrontation in therapy, using psychoeducation, skills instruction, and guidance to help clients practice new skills. I celebrate wins and navigate challenges, addressing anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges. Embracing a sex-positive and kink-aware approach, I create an affirming, non-judgmental space where everyone is welcome to explore and grow. Come as you are—I'll provide a supportive and safe space for your journey.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I believe in the transformative power of therapy to change lives. My journey began with a desire to understand the complexities of the human mind and the resilience of the human spirit. Witnessing the impact of compassionate support on individuals who were struggling inspired me to pursue this career.

What are your interests outside of work?

I cherish the opportunity to blend my love for travel with my enthusiasm for food. Whether it’s a short trip to a neighboring town or a longer journey, I revel in the chance to indulge in the local cuisine. Each bite offers a story, a taste of tradition, and a connection to the place and its people. These experiences enrich my life and enhance my practice, as they remind me of the universal joy that good food can bring, transcending all barriers.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Each day, I dedicate time to be intentional. This practice helps me center my thoughts, reduce stress, and maintain a sense of inner peace. It’s a moment where I can pause, breathe, and reconnect with myself, ensuring that I approach the day’s challenges with clarity and calmness.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My favorite non-profit organization is the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). Their relentless pursuit of equality for the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, education, and public outreach resonates deeply with me. The HRC’s commitment to fighting discrimination and advancing the cause of human rights not only in the US but also globally is why I hold them in high regard.

How do you recharge?

To recharge, I immerse myself in the magic of Walt Disney World with my fiancé. Whether it’s exploring the enchanting realms, enjoying the thrilling rides, or simply watching the fireworks together, each moment spent there is a delightful escape that rejuvenates my spirit and strengthens our bond.

Do you have any pets?

We have a delightful puppy named Ruby. I love watching her grow and explore the world with boundless curiosity.
