My Therapy Style

I recognize the importance of building rapport and understanding each client's individual needs. I work closely with clients to develop a treatment plan that aligns with their goals and preferences. I involve clients and empower them to take ownership of their treatment journey and foster a sense of agency in their recovery. One of my key strengths as a therapist is my ability to assess current stressors and prioritize the most pressing issues facing my clients. I identify the areas of concern that impact my clients' well-being and focus our efforts on managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, or substance abuse.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I have a deep passion for helping others navigate their emotional struggles and supporting them in their journey toward healing and growth. Witnessing the transformation and resilience of my clients brings immense fulfillment to my life.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy various activities that nurture my own well-being and creativity. I love spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking in nature, practicing yoga in the park, or simply taking leisurely walks. I also find solace in reading, exploring different cuisines through cooking, and engaging in artistic pursuits like painting or playing music.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

One thing I prioritize daily for my mental and emotional well-being is practicing mindfulness and meditation. Taking even just a few minutes each day to quiet my mind, ground myself in the present moment, and cultivate self-awareness helps me manage stress and maintain a sense of balance amidst life's challenges.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

As for my favorite organization or non-profit, I hold a special admiration for The Trevor Project. Their dedication to providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth aligns closely with my values of inclusivity, compassion, and advocacy for marginalized communities.

How do you recharge?

To recharge, I prioritize self-care practices that replenish my energy and nurture my spirit. This might involve taking a day off to indulge in restorative activities like getting a massage, spending quality time with loved ones, or escaping into nature for a rejuvenating retreat.
