I know that every client is different and based on the presenting issue the focus of treatment changes.

My Therapy Style

My therapy style is eclectic, meaning I pull from several different modalities of therapy. This is in large part due to my focus on person-centered therapy. I know that every client is different and based on the presenting issue the focus of treatment changes. I am also a firm believer that not every tool/skill works for every person. My goal is to find what works for my clients in a way that works for them. I have been a therapist for 8 years and have worked at all levels of care and in many different positions to be able to understand behavioral health care in a comprehensive way that looks at the whole person.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional to help people feel heard and listened to. I wanted effective tools and strategies to help those I serve move through the most difficult times of their lives.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy art and creating things. I love to spend time with my family and travel.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I created a balanced schedule that allows me to take care of myself, my family, and my clients in a healthy way.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

My favorite non-profit is one-n-ten because they serve LGBTQIA+ youth in need and give them a safe place to be themselves and create community.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by making sure there is time for my interests. I participate in First Friday's Art Walk in Downtown Phoenix every month.

Do you have any pets?

I have a dog named Max and he is 15 years old!
