I am a bilingual (Hmong and English) licensed therapist. I have experience with individuals struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship problems from various age groups, and multicultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am also trained in infant mental health, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP- a trauma-informed relationship-based approach for parents and young children), and TF-CBT.
It is my focus, as a therapist, to create a safe and supportive environment to foster personal growth. My counseling approach is strength-based, holistic, and collaborative. You are not alone, let me help you through your healing journey.

I became a mental health professional because I wanted to bring life-changing support to others and promote the importance of mental health awareness.
I enjoy hiking, traveling, arts and crafts, trying out new foods, and writing children's books.
One thing I do daily that supports my mental and emotional well-being is taking walks.
I have read The Giving Tree so many times. This book resonates with me because it reminds me that being selfless can be a good thing, however, there is a limit, and also remember to love yourself and practice self-care.
Locally, we have an organization Break the Barriers. This is a non-profit organization that promotes friendship, interaction, learning, and extracurricular activities to our children especially those who have special needs. I love this organization because it has brought exposure and support to our special needs population.
I recharge by getting a pedicure and massage when I can. At home, I like to sip tea and watch my favorite TV shows.
