I approach my work with humor, authenticity, and the belief that people deserve the space and energy to be heard and seen for who they truly are.

My Therapy Style

I have over 15 years of experience supporting children, families, and individuals experiencing hardship as well as those searching for a balance of health, healing, and wellness in their lives. I approach my work with humor, authenticity, and the belief that people deserve the space and energy to be heard and seen for who they truly are.

Using an integrative approach, I meet clients where they are at emotionally and use a mix of narrative, relational, and mindfulness based approaches. I have an extensive history supporting folx from the LGBTQ+ community and those who identify as gender queer, non-binary or trans. In addition, I am a certified strengthening families trainer and have worked with parents and families in my private practice as well as in community based settings.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

I love the outdoors. You can often find me hiking or at the beach in my down time. I'm a proud parent, so spending time with my children and family is one of my favorite things to do.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I've learned over the years that I need to actively work on practicing gratitude. It takes a lot of intention to refocus on the things that are going well in order to not stay focused on the things that we do not have. When I'm shifting focus to what I am grateful for, I find my overall emotional well-being is positively impacted.

What book have you read more than once?

Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon. It's such a beautiful mix of fantasy, strength, and the impact of current racial constructs in our society. Rivers Solomon writes with such intrigue and gender-breaking norms.

How do you recharge?

Music is vital to my life. The vibe, rhythm, and melodies help me connect to all of me, and I don't know where I would be without my daily dose of tunes. Music lifts me up and brings me a new sense of energy.
