My Therapy Style

Therapy with me is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I am a certified diplomat through the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. I work hard to provide a non-judgmental and safe space and I welcome feedback from clients. I have experience and training working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, difficulties with emotion regulation, and trauma. I want to collaboratively identify areas of difficulty and create a plan of treatment that makes you feel comfortable and confident about improvement in your mental health.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I changed career paths and became a mental health professional after I experienced my own struggles with mental health as a young adult. I realized how impacting mental health difficulties can be and felt the desire to help others with these issues.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy outdoor activities like stand-up paddle boarding, backpacking, and snowboarding. I also enjoy music and participate in an a cappella group. Lastly, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my dog best buddy.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I try really hard to incorporate deep breathing throughout every day as an easy and simple way to regulate my emotions. I also try to have some fun.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The International OCD Foundation as they have so much available for practitioners, researchers, and those struggling with an OCD diagnosis.
