I specialize in assisting with life’s transitions, whether it be the loss of a job, difficulties with relationships, grief, navigating empty nest syndrome, retirement, or the many issues individuals face during their lifetime.
The first step is talking with someone compassionate who listens and tries to understand the world from your perspective. I believe that you are the expert on your story and have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

he/him
Becoming a mental health professional happened to me later in life when I experienced many of life's challenges that I think are central to becoming a good therapist.
I like spending time with my wife and grown children and vacationing in new places I have not experienced.
I support my overall well-being by going on daily two to three-mile walks with my headphones on while listening to music. I also practice 10 minutes of mindfulness daily.
Freud and Beyond gave me an excellent insight into psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy and made a complicated subject enjoyable to read and easy to understand.
I have two dogs, a 14-year-old rescue and a two-year-old golden retriever. My dog's favorite activity is going for a summertime swim in the Long Island Sound.
