My Therapy Style

My professional career started in 2004 and I continue to love helping people progress to their goals. I have a holistic approach to health and wellness. Therapeutically speaking, my primary modalities include Cognitive Behavioral, Solutions Focused and Strengths based therapies; however, I believe every person and circumstance/s should be individualized based on the client's wants and needs. I like to meet people where they are at and draw off of their strengths to guide them in improving their circumstances and overall quality of life.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy trying new sports, events, activities and restaurants. I also am interested in self growth and enjoy learning about various health topics.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I exercise for minimum of 30 minutes every day. This keeps me calm and balanced.

What book have you read more than once?

I no longer read books for pleasure since I had to read large quantities for my masters program. I do enjoy reading articles related to different aspects of health, wellness, and nutrition. I tend to re-read articles that cover information I'm unfamiliar with and want to grow in understanding and or practice.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Telecare-specifically the Valle Norte program due to the WRAP and easy access care approach to supporting clients (appointment options at home, office and or virtual).

How do you recharge?

Enjoying life with friends and or family and or spending time in nature.

Do you have any pets?

I have 2 cats named sugar and spice. At one time, spice was lost for 2 days. I put up every Party/Christmas/ holiday external light on my fence to attract his attention. I was walking around looking for him at 11 PM and I walked back to my apartment to find him sitting under the Christmas tree lights staring up at the blinking snowflake lights. Priceless. ;)
