I also have a passion for working with couples and helping them break free from difficult communication patterns.

My Therapy Style

My approach to psychotherapy is eclectic. I believe in working and creating an individual treatment approach unique to each of my clients. I am a person centered but also psychodynamic, in that I believe that the unconscious is an important door to change where we can uncover the root of patterns of behavior. I also have a passion for working with couples and helping them break free from difficult communication patterns using Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on the attachment or strength of the bond a couple has and emotions that are getting in the way of safety, connection, and love. etc.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I fell in love with psychology and the psyche during undergrad and the more I learned, the more passionate I became. I’m fascinated with our emotional resiliency and found passion in helping others discover their inner strength. I am honored to be allowed to be a part of their journey.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love to spend time with friends/family and enjoy spending as much time as possible with my favorite people on the planet - my grandchildren. I love to laugh and sing, but I can't sing and getting scared watching a good horror movie.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I get out in the fresh air and walk outdoors as much as possible.

Do you have any pets?

I have a 7-year-old Pomeranian I inherited from my daughter when she moved out and am waiting for the arrival of a Goldendoodle puppy this summer. My long-time companion, a cocker spaniel named Rufus, passed a few years ago and he gave the best hugs.
