My Therapy Style

My therapy style is centered on meeting clients where they are and supporting them as they navigate their current challenges. I use a holistic mind-body connection within a person-centered framework. I also take a direct approach, gently confronting unhealthy patterns to help clients understand the roles they have played in their own lives. This process empowers clients to recognize their ability to change and fosters personal growth and healing. I firmly belief that everyone is capable of change when ready and I am honored to be part of the process.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health therapist because I have always been fascinated by human behavior. I wanted to understand myself and those around me better. Additionally, I believe there is always room for growth, and I was drawn to a field where I could work with people from all walks of life who share a common need for healing. Through this work, I aim to support and guide individuals on their journey toward personal development and well-being.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. As a mother of two young children, maintaining a work-life balance is essential. I love going on walks, watching movies, spending time with friends, and volunteering at my children's school whenever I can. Plus, I'm always up for watching a suspenseful, zombie-inspired series.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I exercise about five times a week to help me regulate in the mornings. I incorporate a lot of somatic bodywork to help my body feel safe when life gets stressful. Throughout the day, I take pauses to recharge for the next task. I also enjoy indulging in desserts from time to time.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Feeding America is a non-profit organization I support since it helps members of the community be able to access a basic human need. Providing support to those who have this need is one of the most genuine way to communicate caring and love for one another.

How do you recharge?

My favorite way to recharge is to curl up with a good book or movie under a warm blanket, giving me a sense of being grounded and relaxed.

Do you have any pets?

I have an 8-year old German Shepherd named Bella.
