I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an eclectic therapeutic style, however, I find that I often use interventions of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focus Brief Therapy, Transtheoretical Model, as well as Motivational Interviewing. I believe that no one person or situation is the same and because of that, I believe that flexibility can often help my clients gain the most benefit.
As a therapist, I have had experience working with clients dealing with addiction, as well as a diverse range of ethnic groups, cultural backgrounds, and gender. I have helped clients dealing with anxiety, depression, grief issues, interpersonal issues, as well as many other issues. My goal is always to assist my client in gaining the awareness needed to make the changes that they feel will increase the quality of their lives.

I became a therapist because I enjoy the process of helping others transform a confusing, sometimes painful situation into a place of insight, clarity, and strength. I believe that all have the ability to increase the quality of our lives and despite where we start, we can obtain better!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being present with my children. I enjoy activities that help me laugh such as watching cartoons with my kids, and like most people… I love a good Romcom Movie!
I practice positive affirmations daily, meditate, and I do my best at focusing on the things that I am grateful for. I find that this helps me pour into others without depleting myself.
I have read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz more than once because each time I learn something new, the information can be applied to many areas of my life. It provides a concept of how to look at what we have learned and how we became who we are today.
Sickle Cell Disease Foundation because the help to increase research and awareness of a disease that impacts so many and increases their ability to get help.
