My Therapy Style

Are you currently grappling with feelings of stress, anxiety, or sadness? If so, I'm here to offer my assistance. My approach centers on meeting individuals at their unique points in the journey toward healing and guiding them beyond the obstacles that may be hindering progress. In my practice, I strive to cultivate a compassionate, uplifting, and non-judgmental environment, where each person feels empowered and validated. I believe in the significance of fostering a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective, which allows us to explore our past and fears with curiosity, kindness, and courage.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I have always known that I belonged in a field of work that challenges me and also allows me to utilize my compassionate and empathic nature. I find it rewarding to support people through personal challenges and explore the variables that are affecting their lives.

What are your interests outside of work?

You can usually find me with my family and friends, exploring the outdoors, finding new trails in the mountains or near the beach, and taking urban hikes in one of the many amazing San Diego neighborhoods.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Practicing good sleep hygiene, daily meditations, taking walks, and setting boundaries are all key practices that support my mental and emotional well-being. I remind myself that the better I take care of myself, the better I am going to show up in the world, with my family and friends, and with the individuals I work with.

How do you recharge?

Unplugging from my devices and hanging out with my family and friends is always an easy and rewarding reset. Time to myself is also key when I need to quiet my mind and recharge. Traveling is another great way to "fill my cup." Travel allows me to reflect more on my life, expand my perspective and gain refreshed appreciation.
