As a therapist, I aim to help individuals build skills that guide self-care, positive thinking, boundary setting, and effective communication.

My Therapy Style

I am here to help. I believe no one is on an island and finding someone to help create a safe and comforting space for you to express yourself is just the beginning of the therapeutic journey. In this space, you can feel guided through everyday life stressors. I also believe it is important to remain grounded and centered within yourself while creating new ways to manage and cope with hardships. Building a strong sense of self creates a suit of armor that can protect you from many factors that once impacted you negatively. As a therapist, I aim to help individuals build skills that guide self-care, positive thinking, boundary setting, and effective communication. Developing and practicing these skills have proven to change the lives and relationships of the clients I have worked with over the years and above all, it has proven to change how each client views themselves.

Change starts here. It is possible and you are worth it.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

Photography, hiking/camping, dinner with family and friends, and dog-friendly social places.

What book have you read more than once?

The Alchemist. I enjoy reading about the Shepard's journey to himself and how his experiences and perceptions along the way have shaped him into who he was meant to be. I love that the words can be interpreted in more ways than one, making them relatable.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Animal shelters. I am an animal lover and their innocence needs to be protected.

How do you recharge?

Turn off my phone and other devices and take my dog for a long walk. No distractions. Appreciating the simplicity of nature.
